Thanks for being a part of my community! Here’s an exclusive, unreleased track just for you. I fell in love with this song years ago and added it to my repertoire with my band, but never made it available for public consumption outside of live performances.
This recording of The Lorry Ride is from a performance at KUT in Austin, Texas. I’m joined here by Alexis Buffum on fiddle, Dana Martin on guitar, and Nick Mitchell on drums and percussion. The lyrics were written by Liza Chera (Tubb) to the tune of the traditional Irish song, Casadh an tSúgáin (which is a beautiful and sad love song in its own right). I hope you enjoy it, and I look forward to sharing more with you!
