Hi, I’m Sarah!
I’m an Author and Vocalist with an affinity for encouragement and celebrating what makes us who we are.
I believe in using our skills to help others and uplift humanity. In my world, books are a nexus of joy and clean water. So, by purchasing one of my books for your reading pleasure, you are helping to improve the lives of people you may never meet. Portions of all book sales are used in support of bringing clean water to people currently living without access.
Writing in the wild alert.
On owning what delights us.
On getting what we need.
Writing in the wild alert.
Speaking in the wild alert.
On the beauty of beginnings.
Writing in the wild alert.
On taking stock and subtle shifts.
On living in the maybe.
On knowing our audience.
On slowing our roll and inner tending.
On cycles, seasons, and the consistent nature of change.
On Southern “wisdom” and celebrating ambition.
On Stoic wisdom for a busy season.
On the ownership of desire.
On the beauty of the tangent.
On boredom, bliss, and learning to let go.
On prioritizing creation over consumption.
On being present in the every day.
On honoring what wants to come through.
On believing in and going for our dreams.
On discovering and embracing our own creative processes.
On using our art for humanity.
On the power of wishful doing.
On heartache, pie, and learning not to settle.
On the contagious and liberating nature of joy.
On saying yes to life.
Journal
Finding and creating joy in the journey, meaning in the mundane, and pleasure in the practical.
Writing
I write a diverse mix of stories, poetry, and prose that run the gamut from playful to poignant and include tales of surrender and triumph, odes to nature, battle-cries for creativity and love, and explorations of what it means to be human.
Music
By turns buoyant and introspective, I sing an eclectic mix of stories, ancient and new, in the form of lilting songs, haunting ballads, uplifting anthems, and soothing lullabies.
